An Angry man

on October 27, 2012

“An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.” (proverbs 29: 22) Anger is a common feature of our political life now days but we urge all citizens to consider carefully the warning of the Lord quoted above. I you are angry, that will tend to cause you to abound in transgressions. Furthermore if you are angry, that will tend to stir up contention between you and other citizens. Those citizens who have the Spirit of the Lord do the Lord’s will as they take part in the public affairs of their communities, states, and nations without getting angry with any one. On the Citizens Page of this website, we mention that citizens should practice civility. This duty is much easier to perform for those citizens who learn the Lord’s way to control their own tempers than for those who do not learn the Lord’s way to control their own tempers.
