First People’s Party Candidate

on August 22, 2012

From: Warren T Rogers, Chairman of the Utah People’s Party

I am pleased to announce that Thursday ( 8-23-12), the Utah People’s Party got its first candidate when the Party held a meeting and decided to endorse the following candidate for the 2012 general election.

for State Treasurer, please Write In the name of Warren Rogers.

When you vote, there will be a place on the ballot that looks something like this

State Treasurer

Republican Some Candidate
Democratic Other Candidate
Libertarian Still Other Candidate
Write In

Voting for Warren Rogers is a two step process. The first step is to find the row with the words “Write In” rather than the name of a political party and put a check or “X” in the box next to the words “Write In”

X Write In

then you will be able to take the second step. Use the letter keys on your voting machine to type the name “Warren Rogers” and that name will appear in the blank space beside the words “Write In”

X Write In Warren Rogers

To learn more about this candidate, you may visit his candidate website

In the future, the candidate being announced and the person making the announcement will usualy be two different people, but this first time they are not. I, Warren Rogers am putting most of my writing on the website of the Utah People’s Party

because the purpose for my campaign is to promote the party rather than to promote myself as one candidate. Citizens concerned about the direction our state and nation are going, could use their time and money supporting just one good candidate, but those citizens will get more influence for by using their time and effort promoting a better system for selecting candidates. The People’s Party offers that better system. If we work to build up the Party, it will give us a candidate worthy of our support in each race rather than just one race. I am the most active supporter of the Utah People’s Party thus far.

Note that my candidate website

uses my middle initial, “T” but when I registered as a candidate I did not use that middle initial so that you would have less to type when you vote for me. Just type “Warren Rogers” when you vote for State Treasurer.
